Speech recognition uses your phone's own service (Apple or Google). The ear button (👂) switches to Casa's ear instead: the phone records the sentence and OpenAI writes it down, better in a loud room; the audio is sent once and not kept. Translation runs on your device when your browser supports it. Otherwise the sentence goes through Casa to Claude (Anthropic), with the last few sentences so it understands the conversation. One conversation a day is free, on any phone or account. After that, Luna Pro: 30 days with no limit (fair use 300 sentences a day), paid once by card or with 4 Casa tickets; or one ticket per conversation, the same tickets every Casa app uses. A conversation lasts until 30 minutes of quiet, 3 hours or 300 sentences. Otherwise, MyMemory, a free translation service with a daily limit. Casa stores nothing: no recordings, no text, no account needed. Machine translation can be wrong. For medical, legal or safety matters, use a human interpreter.
