A Busy Weekend
Last weekend, my friend Tomás and I visited a food market in the city centre. We arrived at eleven and stayed for three hours. I tasted different cheeses and Tomás tried spicy noodles. We walked along the canal afterwards and stopped at a coffee shop. In the evening, we watched a documentary about deep-sea fish. It was a simple but enjoyable day. I always feel better after a weekend like that.
1. Where did Tomás and the writer go on the weekend?
2. What did they do after the market?
